I first became hooked on electric kettles when traveling in the United Kingdom and kept postponing getting one. This is perfect for my six ( Oh dear, I really say you are! ) Cups of tea per day. Faster than a microwave oven ( only because its actually boiled and hot) and no worrys about... I left the stove as it has a brilliant drive off. Still remains hot enough to finish the first cup of tea. I like it, sorry only that it took many years to satisfy my self with a product so simple!
